Water Parameter Compatibility
Running River Rocks are typically inert natural stones and generally do not have a significant impact on aquarium pH, General Hardness (GH) or Carbonate Hardness (KH). This makes them an excellent choice for a wide range of freshwater aquariums. As with all natural stones, rinse thoroughly before use to remove any dust from handling and transport.

In nature, rocks are rarely fully exposed. Water and sediment gradually bury part of every stone. By embedding roughly one-third of each rock into the substrate, the aquascape immediately appears more mature and realistic.
Rounded stones are commonly found in habitats inhabited by Corydoras, Hillstream Loaches, Garra, Gobies, many freshwater minnows, Rainbowfish, and numerous river-dwelling species from Asia and South America.
For species such as Corydoras, Loaches and freshwater Stingrays, smooth river stones reduce the risk of injury while allowing natural foraging behaviour around the hardscape.
