Coral Essentials Coral Power Boron 50ml is a concentrated liquid boron additive with a strength of 50,000 ppm (mg/L). In natural sea water, boron typically exists at levels around 4-5 ppm. This essential element plays a key role in forming coral skeletons, as it co-precipitates with calcium carbonate. Additionally, boron provides slight assistance in buffering the pH of aquarium water.

For those who are more experienced in aquarium care, it is important to regularly check boron levels in marine tanks to monitor how much is being utilized in your system. You can calculate boron usage by conducting tests consistently and then determining your dosing requirements to match the depletion rate. It is advisable to continue checking the levels every week or two.

Dosage Rate: We suggest starting with 1 drop per day for every 100 liters of tank water. You can gradually increase this to 2 drops per day over the course of a month. Please do not exceed 3 drops per day for each 100 liters of water, especially in heavily stocked systems. For more detailed dosing information, please refer to the Manual Dosing Tables.

For advanced aquarists, dosing 0.1 ml (which is about 2 drops) will raise the boron levels by 0.05 ppm (mg/L) for each 100 liters of tank water. If you are aware of the boron depletion rate in your aquarium, please adjust your dosing accordingly based on usage.
